As our Service Coordinator, you are responsible for responding to the daily needs of our customers, pro-actively organizing and scheduling work for our field service technicians, driving profitable service revenue, and building strong relationships with our customers based in the Calgary/Southern Alberta region. • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling frequent paperwork and documentation processes
• Ability to work at a computer station while sitting at desk for extended periods of time daily
• No criminal record
• Ability to work in an alcohol and drug free workplace

Nice To Haves

• Post-secondary diploma, or certificate is preferred
• Previous experience with service coordination/service dispatching is preferred

Responsibilities

• Schedule daily/weekly/monthly workload for field service technicians.
• Making proactive phone calls to schedule service work.
• Selling and promoting parts and services.
• Promptly responding to incoming customer inquiries.
• Communicating with customers via telephone, email, and face-to face.
• Basic troubleshooting to determine customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinating the day-to-day work of self and others.
• Parts identification using manuals, business systems and software, and other online resources.
• Organizing service parts required for scheduled work.
• Utilizing computer software and business systems to schedule work and create service work orders.
• Creating repair estimates for customers and providing necessary follow-up.
• Processing transactions daily in a manner that reflects the company’s commitment to excellence.
• Reviewing service work orders and time sheets for accuracy prior to billing.
• Collaborating with service team and other internal departments to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
• Assisting with office related tasks such as assisting walk-in customers and vendors, ordering office supplies.
• Assisting with the organization and cleanliness of the service shop/warehouse area.
• Provide occasional back-up support for Warehouse/Shipper Receiver when required.
