About The Position

H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle. We are seeking a Service Coordinator for immediate hire at our new Huntington, WV location. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to our customers’ service calls. This position requires a person that can multitask, be well organized, and be able to effectively communicate with our customers, field service technicians, parts department, and management team.

Requirements

Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude
Exceptional communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and pressures
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and comfortable learning new programs
High School Diploma or equivalency

Responsibilities

Answer customer calls and respond in a timely manner
Ensure field service estimates are promptly submitted for approval
Open work orders for field technicians and dispatch as needed
Work with service manager and team to collect information for ongoing jobs
Process work orders, purchase orders and coordinate with vendors and schedule technicians
