Service coordinators help people meet their personal needs and goals in obtaining the greatest degree of independence and inclusion possible in everyday community life. They assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in identifying and obtaining needed services and supports, and also advocate for, monitor, and evaluate these services along with the individuals, their families, or guardians.
