About The Position

Service Coordinator (Operations) is accountable for providing support to the Service Team in coordinating, planning, and monitoring various aspects of field service functions He/she will assist in the coordination and scheduling of field service projects. These duties include coordination of scheduling for field technicians and engineers. Assisting service managers and resource planners with documentation, safety training, and travel planning for field personnel. This includes but is not limited to collection and timely implementation of project time and pay reports as needed and other administrative duties. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Capable of working in a high pressure fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to learn computer systems, databases and a variety of software programs.
  • Fluent in English and capable of effective and concise communicating with co-workers.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Office with a strong focus on Excel and working within databases a plus
  • Previous experience in a Service or Repair shop setting
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  • Capable of maintaining an organized work area.
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Willing to occasionally work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekend as needed

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with coworker and management team to identify scheduling needs and concerns of the field team.
  • Assist Field team with booking travel, scheduling safety course and maintaining certifications
  • Asist Service Managers with field team utilization by generating reports and identifying trends as directed.
  • Generates requisitions for various purchases as required by Service department
  • Serve as database admin for reporting as needed.
  • standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to service quality.
