About The Position

Service Coordinator / Service Administrator / Engineering Coordinator required to join a well-established filtration and water treatment engineering company supporting industrial and commercial customers. The successful Service Coordinator / Engineering Coordinator / Service Administrator will be office-based in Pittsburgh , working closely with field service engineers, sales, and engineering teams to coordinate service activity, support customers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the service function. Full product and systems training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have experience in service coordination, scheduling, customer support, or administration within an engineering, filtration, HVAC, water treatment, or industrial environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in service coordination, scheduling, service administration, customer support, or similar roles within an engineering or technical environment.
  • B ackground in filtration, water treatment, HVAC, industrial equipment, or mechanical services is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong relationships with customers and engineers.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is beneficial.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office .
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and confident communicating by phone and email.
  • Comfortable supporting inventory or stores functions when required.
  • Commutable to Pittsburgh, PA .

Nice To Haves

  • B ackground in filtration, water treatment, HVAC, industrial equipment, or mechanical services is highly advantageous.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule the daily activities of Field Service Engineers supporting filtration and water treatment equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, booking service visits and responding to service-related queries.
  • Support the service and sales teams with quotes for service, repairs, and maintenance agreements .
  • Regular use of the company ERP system to raise work orders, schedule engineers, order parts, and update job status.
  • Track spare parts orders, book goods in, approve supplier invoices, and assist with inventory and stock control when required.
  • Support planning of engineer workloads, on-call schedules, and annual leave.
  • Liaise with internal departments including engineering, service, sales, and operations to ensure high service levels.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting.
  • Full training provided on products, systems, and processes.
