About The Position

Under the leadership of the Director of Service Contracts, the Service Contracts Manager – Dining Operations is responsible for providing leadership and supervision to all team members assigned to the customer contract at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB). This role oversees daily contract operations to ensure work is completed in accordance with the scope of work, daily checklists are fulfilled, payroll is processed accurately, and billing hours are submitted weekly. The Service Contracts Manager – Dining Operations leads daily team huddles, maintains consistent communication with Prime and military leadership, and participates in weekly partnership meetings. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all team members during work activities.   • One (1) year of verifiable work experience in the food service industry.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a role leading and managing others.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize appropriate methods for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Report suspected Abuse, Neglect, Exploitation, Isolation, and Abandonment (ANEIA) immediately as mandated by state law.
  • Travel to a variety of locations in the Las Vegas area.
  • Meet all requirements of OV vehicle policies and travel: Between worksite locations Within the community.
  • Lead and support team members in dining facility operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, operational efficiency, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and all relevant state, federal, and military guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining performance standards and supporting team member development through ongoing guidance and communication.
  • Oversee and ensure completion of JDT and person-served documentation and attend annual PCP meetings as part of managerial responsibilities.
  • Partner with Human Resources to support onboarding efforts, including providing department-specific guidance and training for new team members.
  • Conduct team member performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
  • Act as the liaison for Opportunity Village and communicate daily with Prime Contractor and Military leadership.
  • Oversee scheduling and attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting in alignment with organizational processes.
  • Monitor changes in operations, processes, or work environment and ensure standards are updated and communicated as needed.
  • Support the annual budgeting process by contributing relevant operational data, forecasting supply and staffing needs, and monitoring expenses to help ensure adherence to budget goals.
  • Support daily operations as needed by assisting with front- and back-of-house tasks, including cashiering, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and the use and maintenance of clippers, pots, ovens, and other equipment, to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service.
  • Adhere to Opportunity Village's established policies and procedures.
  • May be assigned other duties as needed.
