About The Position

The Huffines Service Business Development Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and who can communicate in a clear efficient manner. The position is responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company's service department goals and providing courteous and efficient service to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum one-year customer service
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers, software applications, and technology systems
  • Motivated self-starter able to establish and meet production goals
  • Time management, professional dress, and behavior are all required for this position
  • Friendly and customer service focused
  • Proven ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound and conduct outbound calls to drive traffic for the service department by setting appointments for prospective customers
  • Updating and maintaining customer information in database systems
  • Following up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring protection of customer information by continually following information security procedures
  • Addressing customer concerns and issues or escalating as needed
  • Coordinating questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
  • Directing customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact
  • Providing courteous and efficient electronic and phone customer service assistance
  • Taking ownership of the customer experience by immediately addressing and resolving issues
  • Assisting and coordinating customers to minimize wait time and promote the most effective service method as required
  • Able to work in a varied working schedule environment that includes both opening and closing shifts
  • Business Development Center hours of operation 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • One Saturday shift per month is required
