About The Position

Cornerstone Restaurant Group (CRG), based in Fulton Market, is seeking talented Service Assistants for CRG’s newest restaurant, Dimmi Dimmi, nestled in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The restaurant features 75 seats inside, with an additional 40 seats outside during patio season next summer. With Dimmi Dimmi, CRG is reimagining the iconic neighborhood Italian spot with bold red-sauce staples, classic cocktails, and a warm, buzzing vibe. It’s where timeless tradition meets modern energy, brought to life with heartfelt hospitality and moments made to share. Our exceptional culinary team led by Executive Chef Matthew Eckfeld, who honed his expertise in Italian cuisine at New York’s celebrated Carbone and other iconic Major Food Group restaurants. Our pastry program is guided by consultant Casey Doody, a French Pastry School alum and former Director of Pastry at the renowned Boka Group. Supporting service, including the bar operations, dining room operations and carry out, the Service Assistant will play a key support role in overall successful operations of the restaurant. Duties include, but are not limited to: Bringing glassware up and down stairs from the dish area Assisting the bar in restocking Helping to put away orders and organize storage areas and the liquor cage Assisting the dining room in restocking, including water pitchers, silverware, and glassware Polishing silverware and glassware Facilitate carry out, including packaging food orders, working with Door Dash drivers and ensuring orders are correct Assisting with any guest request or needs Helping to clear tables and run food when needed Cleaning bar, dining room and/or kitchen areas as needed Assist with restocking restrooms Opening and closing duties

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
High school education or equivalent
1-2 years of experience
Basic computer skills
Ability to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations
Must be able to frequently go up and down stairs throughout the shift while carrying up to 25lbs
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday
Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties
This position may involve visual and auditory tasks, including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions

Responsibilities
