About The Position

The Service / Aftermarket Product Lead for Special Products acts as the central interface for all service-related product topics within the Special Products portfolio. This role is responsible for developing competitive service offerings, driving product readiness from bid to delivery, and ensuring regional market alignment. The position requires close collaboration with R&D, sales, and regional teams to grow service business and technical know-how.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in service product management or aftermarket leadership, ideally in a technical or industrial setting. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle, service commercialization, and customer value creation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and regional teams. Travel may be necessary roughly about 10%
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following products/markets: Screw Compressors, Bladed Compressors, Pipeline Compressors, Single Stage Pumps, Boiler Feed Pumps.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface for all service-related product topics, ensuring alignment with regional market needs.
  • Develop competitive standard service offerings with clear Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) and maintain lead time and cost targets.
  • Collect and prioritize service-related R&D needs, addressing product challenges throughout the lifecycle from bid to delivery.
  • Support go-to-market strategies to ensure product fit and drive service Original Equipment (OE) growth in line with regional business objectives.
  • Facilitate knowledge growth through training and enablement across regions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, roadshows, and sales materials, while maintaining technical bulletins and training content for stakeholders.
