About The Position

As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service and high-quality equipment care. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing professional advice, accurate cost estimates, and ensuring clear communication throughout the repair process. Peak Industrial Company is made up of four different businesses that span across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and Montana. We are the dealership for and sell, rent, and repair Thermo King transport refrigeration equipment, Bobcat construction equipment, JCB construction equipment, and Club Car, Golf, and Utility Vehicles. Requirements

  • Experience within the automotive, transportation or construction industries
  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a Customer Service Advisor
  • Current Driver License
  • Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to develop and manage positive customer experiences.
  • Ability to foster loyalty, cooperation, and communication among functional teams (Sales, Service, Parts, Management) and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers professionally and gather repair information
  • Document customer’s repair complaints on work orders
  • Advise customers on the proper care of their equipment and the value of maintaining proper maintenance in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
  • Recommend additional needed and value-added services based on service history and equipment inspection
  • Monitor the progress of repairs and update customers on any changes in the promised time or cost
  • Ensure clear explanation of all completed work and charges to the customer
  • Coordinate with Technicians and the Parts Department to ensure smooth communication on repairs
  • Handle customer interaction, answer phones, answer questions, and finalize sales
  • Process branch transfers correctly, including parts shipped from other locations
  • Handle invoicing and payment processing
