About The Position

Acura of Ellicott City is seeking an experienced, customer-focused, energetic, and friendly Automotive Service Advisor. This role involves managing communications for all repair activities and acting as a liaison between customers and the dealership. The Service Advisor must be well-versed in automotive service matters, thoroughly understand customer problems, and effectively set and manage expectations to ensure customers receive first-class service.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous Acura or Honda experience
• CDK experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) rating as set by dealership service manager
• Schedule appointments and generate estimates for customers
• Advise customers on the appropriate maintenance required to their vehicle based on manufacturer’s specifications
• Document repair and service orders in the correct fashion
• Be familiar with the latest industry trends and technical advancements and successfully apply them in daily activities
• Establish and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with customers to encourage customer retention and referral business
• Follow up with progress calls and/or emails to customers regarding any changes in the estimate or pick up time
• All other duties as assigned
