About The Position

As a Service Advisor , you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and service technicians. Your role is crucial in coordinating service and repair activities while ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction. You will listen carefully to customer concerns, schedule services, explain repairs, and manage repair authorizations and expectations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule vehicle service appointments in person or by phone to diagnose issues promptly and accurately.
  • Follow up on repair status to ensure timely completion, update customers on delays, and secure approval for any revised estimates.
  • Recommend repairs and communicate expected service timelines clearly to customers.
  • Ensure all repairs pass quality control checks and road tests before customer delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle functions, warranties, service campaigns, state lemon laws, and Technical Service Bulletins.
  • Meet or exceed all service level performance targets.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to and promote all safety policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and educational opportunities as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the service department.
