About The Position

The Service Advisor serves as the main point of communication between customers and the service technicians. This role involves coordinating service and repair activities, managing customer expectations, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and safety focus
  • Basic computer and internet skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to understand written instructions
  • Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as required

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Schedule service appointments in person or by phone with accurate problem diagnosis
  • Follow up on repair status and inform customers if delays occur
  • Obtain customer authorization for revised repair estimates
  • Recommend repairs and set realistic expectations for service delivery
  • Ensure all repairs pass quality control and road tests
  • Stay current on vehicle operations, warranties, service campaigns, and regulations
  • Meet or exceed service level targets
  • Complete documentation in compliance with regulations and standards
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and educational programs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
