About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Classic Kia. As a Full Time Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting the sale of services for our Kia vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive technology and possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. They are the front-line representatives of a company and are expected to be knowledgeable about the products and services the company offers. The primary responsibility of a Service Advisor is to answer customer inquiries and resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in automotive customer service or sales preferred
Strong understanding of automotive technology and repairs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software systems
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
Listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate services for their Kia vehicle
Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues
Generate repair orders and provide quotes for services
Educate customers on necessary maintenance and repairs for their vehicle, including warranties and special offers
Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated throughout the process
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs
Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns
Maintain strong knowledge of Kia products and services
Meet and exceed sales goals set by management
