About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team at Classic Kia. As a Full Time Automotive Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and promoting the sale of services for our Kia vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive technology and possess exceptional communication and organizational skills. They are the front-line representatives of a company and are expected to be knowledgeable about the products and services the company offers. The primary responsibility of a Service Advisor is to answer customer inquiries and resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in automotive customer service or sales preferred
  • Strong understanding of automotive technology and repairs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software systems
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
  • Listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate services for their Kia vehicle
  • Accurately document customer concerns and vehicle issues
  • Generate repair orders and provide quotes for services
  • Educate customers on necessary maintenance and repairs for their vehicle, including warranties and special offers
  • Monitor repair progress and keep customers updated throughout the process
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any additional concerns
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Kia products and services
  • Meet and exceed sales goals set by management
