As a Service Advisor at Madison Honda, you will play a vital role in connecting customers with the automotive services they need. You will greet customers promptly and professionally, assess their vehicles, and provide accurate information about service options and costs. Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a service advisor
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license for the state of employment with a clean driving record
  • Positive attitude with energetic and professional demeanor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a process-driven environment
  • Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Welcome service customers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Inspect vehicles and review service history to identify customer needs accurately
  • Recommend appropriate services, parts, and accessories based on thorough product knowledge
  • Provide precise estimates for service costs and completion times, obtaining customer authorization
  • Monitor service progress and communicate any changes to customers for approval
  • Manage warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Confirm service appointments via telephone one day prior to customer arrival
  • Perform post-repair follow-ups with customers
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure all services and repairs are properly completed
  • Comply with all applicable state and federal laws related to automobile repair and consumer protection
  • Represent company values in all customer, coworker, and vendor interactions
