About The Position

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring that our clients receive timely and accurate vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with automotive service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments, and communicate work orders to technicians, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are performed accurately and on time.
  • Advise customers on necessary vehicle services and repairs, providing clear and detailed explanations.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and obtain customer authorization before initiating repairs.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any changes to the estimated completion time.
  • Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
  • Promote dealership services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
