About The Position

We are seeking a Service Advisor for our Payne Rio Grande City Dodge/Ford location. The Service Advisor will be responsible for greeting customers, assessing their service needs, recommending services, and providing accurate cost estimates. This role requires excellent customer service skills, technical knowledge of automotive repairs, and the ability to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
Proven experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with automotive service software and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assess their service needs
Consult with customers on recommended services and explain costs and time estimates
Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on status and completion times
Coordinate with the service team and technicians to ensure timely and efficient service
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and vehicle history
Upsell additional services and products as needed while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction
Stay updated on new products, services, and industry trends to better serve customers
