Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with customers
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to stay calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence handling estimates, repair orders, and follow-up
  • A team-oriented attitude and commitment to delivering a high level of service
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Service Advisor experience preferred
  • Automotive technician experience or mechanical knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a positive first impression in the service drive
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately identify service needs
  • Serve as the main point of communication between the customer and technician throughout the repair process
  • Write clear, detailed repair orders and enter accurate information into the service system
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage and explain repair recommendations in a way customers can understand
  • Build estimates by reviewing labor, parts, and repair needs with accuracy and transparency
  • Communicate additional services or repairs based on technician inspection results
  • Keep customers updated on repair progress, completion timing, expenses, and service recommendations
  • Help ensure a smooth, efficient experience that supports both customer satisfaction and service department performance
  • Maintain organized customer records and support follow-up communication as needed
