About The Position

The AFTS Service Account Manager is responsible for servicing, developing and growing major accounts in the packaging industry. Identifies customer needs, understands customer expectations, takes ownership and addresses customer concern accordingly. The individual analyses the market, promotes and schedules proactive sales calls. Responsible for Pressure Sensitive and Shrink Sleeve label machines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales engineering and or machine sales
  • Computer skills in Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Possesses electrical and mechanical background
  • Valid US driver license and driving record

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with customers and professionals in all levels of the organization
  • Utilize technical and consultative sales skills to achieve goals and sales
  • Effectively negotiate and close deals with customers
  • Conduct and develop business plan and strategy
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and grow market share
  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients: maintain specific information regarding daily operations of the Company and update Client as appropriate
  • Establish interpersonal business relationships to facilitate work activities
  • Confer with organizational members to accomplish work activities
  • Responsible for maintaining budget
  • Weekly reports of all activities to management
  • Travel 20%-50%, including overnight stays to meet with customers and for training
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
