About the Beach House Restaurant Located just steps from the Gulf, the Beach House Restaurant at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort offers a relaxed, beachside dining experience featuring both open-air and indoor seating. Guests come for fresh coastal flavors, refreshing beverages, and spectacular views — and our team delivers warm, genuine service that matches the laid-back yet polished resort atmosphere. Position Summary The Server is responsible for delivering friendly, efficient, and attentive food and beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, casual beachfront restaurant environment. This role requires strong guest engagement, product knowledge, and the ability to work seamlessly in both indoor and outdoor service areas while maintaining Sandestin’s high standards for hospitality.

Requirements

  • Previous serving experience preferred, preferably in a resort or high-volume restaurant
  • Strong and Clear communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling preferred
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and guest-focused
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings
  • Food Handler and Responsible Alcohol Service certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Provide welcoming, attentive, and personalized service to all guests
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
  • Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
  • Make recommendations and upsell menu items when appropriate
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond quickly to requests or concerns
  • Maintain clean, organized tables and service stations throughout the shift
  • Process payments accurately and responsibly
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Support team members to create a seamless guest experience
