Position Summary The Food Runner at the Beach House plays a key role in delivering a smooth and memorable dining experience by ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately, and with a friendly attitude. This position supports servers and kitchen staff while maintaining quality presentation and service standards in a fast-paced indoor and outdoor beachfront environment.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow directions and maintain attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Food Handler certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Ensure proper food presentation and verify orders before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and service teams to maintain efficient service flow
- Describe dishes to guests when delivering food as needed
- Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas
- Help run beverages or additional items during busy service periods
- Support opening, closing, and side work duties
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
- Provide friendly, professional guest interaction at all times
- Assist in resetting and clearing tables as needed to support team efficiency
