About The Position
We work together as a team to help deliver events, large and small, for members of the community and guests from all over the world. Looking for individuals that value working in a team environment.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in Food and Beverage industry or related setting
- Ability to work varied hours, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to obtain a proper permit to serve food and beverages (Food Handlers Permit)
- Commitment to support IslandWood’ s work towards equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
- Must be able to comply with and maintain a smoke-free and drug-free work environment.
- Must pass child safety screening procedure, post-offer.
Nice To Haves
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain the proper permit to serve alcohol (MAST)
Responsibilities
- Performs all aspects of alcohol service as event dictates, including setting up and breaking down alcohol service
- Inventory of alcohol
- Reconciling of all moneys from cash bar service
- Pouring wine and beer at tables
- Operating stationary bar service during events.
