About The Position

We are seeking a Server Engineer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in multiple technologies and platforms ranging from Windows Server, VMware, IBM P-Series, UCS Intersight, Active Directory. Some other technologies may include IBM Pseries systems and Cisco UCS Intersight management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting virtual infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of enterprise systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong expertise in Windows Administration and Active Directory
Hands-on experience with IBM P-series Power Systems (hardware management, AIX/Linux OS, PowerVM/VIOS).
Experience managing Cisco UCS environments, with emphasis on UCS Intersight for centralized, automated management.
Proficiency in scripting (PowerCLI, Shell, or Python) is a plus.
Good understanding of using ITSM tools.

In depth knowledge in Windows Server 2012 , 2012R2 , 2016 and 2019.
Perform In-place upgrade for the Servers
In depth knowledge in Clustering, DNS, DHCP, GPO and file services
Identify issues in the Windows environment proactively.
Troubleshooting and break-fix of issues in Windows
Health check of Windows environment and responsible for managing Antivirus
Responsible for applying security patches to windows servers using WSUS & SCCM tools.
Responsible for building & hardening windows servers
Analyse server logs & provide root cause analysis during Major incidents
Manage & maintain permissions on File servers & NAS shares
Administer and troubleshoot AD topology, replication, and core components.
Execute domain migration and consolidation for large-scale enterprise environments.
Design and implement robust domain controller placement for disaster recovery scenarios and perform metadata cleanup.
Administer AD-integrated DNS, including migration, consolidation, zone management, SRV records, conditional forwarders, root hints, and scavenging procedures.
Implement, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Group Policy Preferences (GPPs).
Manage and maintain IBM P-series servers, including hardware, firmware updates, and AIX/Linux operating system integration.
Perform system-level troubleshooting and participate in upgrades or hardware migrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IBM Power Systems with virtualized workloads as needed.
Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of AIX/Linux and ESX server environment.
Deploy and manage Cisco UCS infrastructure using Intersight for cloud-based management and automation.
Implement best practices for provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management of UCS servers and profiles.
Performance analysis and tuning of available infrastructure.
Optimize UCS configurations for performance, security, and compliance.
Vulnerability Management and mitigation
Work with onsite\hands and feet support counterpart for any replacement on hardware
Solid understanding of enterprise storage and networking principles as related to virtualization.
