The Sepsis Coordinator focuses on advancing sepsis care through adherence to evidence-based bundles, ensuring staff remain informed on best practices, and driving quality improvement initiatives. This role conducts chart audits, provides education, and delivers presentations while collaborating closely with physicians and clinical teams across the ICU, Emergency Department, and Med/Surg units. Working within a matrixed environment, the coordinator partners with leadership and subject matter experts to evaluate performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements. As part of the Safety Quality and Patient Experience (SQPE) team, this role plays a key part in strengthening patient safety, enhancing clinical outcomes, and supporting Cleveland Clinic’s commitment to excellence in care. A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 5:00pm with no weekend or holiday requirements.
