About The Position

Apple’s Services team is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and ambitious individual with a passion for media and entertainment to help grow its Services business, primarily focusing on Apple Creator Studio while also contributing to additional business verticals. On Apple Services’ Search Engine Optimization Team, we are responsible for the online organic presence of our websites and the discoverability of their content. Our main goal is to deliver and execute strategies that optimize visibility across traditional search engines and AI generative engines alike. We’re looking for an SEO expert who has mastered the ability to articulate sophisticated initiatives to non-SEO partners and stakeholders. This is a highly cross-functional role in which you will collaborate with a wide range of teams, including marketing, product, engineering, and design. The ideal candidate has an aptitude for education and storytelling, as well as a track record of successful SEO programs garnered through strategic use of data, presentation skills, and relationship building. In this role, you will work with the Apple Creator Studio team to build and execute our organic search roadmap, and be responsible for managing all SEO activities. Your role will also include contributing a portion of your time to driving SEO initiatives across other key businesses within Apple Services.

Requirements

  • 4+ years SEO experience with enterprise-level brands / large websites, including improving page load times, optimizing crawl budget, and implementing schema markup and other structured metadata
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog)
  • Strong data and analytical skills, including experience reporting on SEO-specific metrics and proficiency with Excel, Numbers, and data modeling tools
  • Experience developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies from the ground up
  • Functional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, sitemaps, and structured data

Nice To Haves

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail like spelling, grammar, tone, and clarity
  • Comfortable with working in a dynamic, team-based environment
  • Working understanding of Generative Engine Optimization strategies and how they relate / differ from traditional search engines
  • Familiarity with GEO tools like Profound is a plus
  • Coding experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Knowledge of digital creator industries and applications is a plus
  • Startup experience is a plus, as this is a new line of business for Apple
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
