The Services External Marketing team at Apple is responsible for cultivating awareness and education of Apple's full suite of services and driving new customer acquisition through various marketing channels. Our growing team is looking for a Strategic Planning Lead to work on the new Apple Creator Studio business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with marketing leads, media teams, creative strategists and analytics to build data-informed recommendations and campaigns. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize, adapt to change and multi-task within a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for developing integrated media strategies for the Apple Creator Studio business. Campaigns will range from national brand awareness to performance campaigns with specialized focus areas (Social, Digital, Custom Partnerships, Audio, CTV, OOH), and your responsibilities will include building briefs, reviewing media plans and consolidating information from various channels into clear presentations for stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage workflows between cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration and the overseeing the implementation of each strategy. You will analyze the performance of marketing channels and provide insights to ensure key partners understand plans, optimizations and results. In addition to developing sophisticated marketing strategies, you will position yourself as the strategic thought leader for your business stakeholders and provide direction on how they allocate budgets, effectively leverage media and other channels for their needs, while providing insight on branding and messaging within creative. Your ability to clearly communicate challenges, solutions, recommendations, and perspectives will be integral to the team’s success in a constantly evolving environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years media planning and strategy experience, agency experience a plus!
  • Expertise in cross channel tactical planning for performance and brand KPIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and insights to build audience profiles, create clear communication plans, and develop channel level marketing strategies that tie back to business objectives
  • Familiarity with traditional media channels (OOH, TV), digital advertising and social media platforms and their relationship with each other in multifaceted, integrated campaigns
  • Track record of measuring impact through different testing and measurement solutions with the ability to also share results and future recommendations in a digestible way
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously with agility, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • BS/BA degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with creators or the creator economy
  • Comms and audience strategy experience
  • Proficiency working within syndicated research sources (MRI/ Simmons, comScore, etc.) and social listening tools
