Job Purpose: Reporting to the Group Manager, Creative, and working closely with the Creative Director, Digital & Connected Experiences, the Senior Writer, will lead and/or support the writing and creative concepting for various projects and initiatives across Brand and Marketing communications. This individual must have top-notch writing, concepting, and editing skills, including knowledge of proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar. They must also have a strong portfolio showing multi-channel campaigns. Knowledge of video concepts and production is necessary, as is experience across all digital media, with a special emphasis on social. Extensive subject matter expertise in social is required. You should have worked in an agency that values the power of superior creative. Big brand experience, while not necessary, is a plus. You must have strong presentation skills with the ability to sell innovative creative to clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of working as a creative writer with an additional 2 years of experience as a Senior Writer at an agency (in-house or external).
  • Proven track record as a Writer, with a portfolio filled with examples of how their contributions assisted in the development of breakthrough creative in digital, social, print and video production.
  • Must have top-notch writing and editing skills, including knowledge of proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.
  • Must be well-organized, able to understand a marketing brief and can present ideas and develop strategies.
  • Strong team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude, and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, which may include extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong written, verbal, conceptual, and presentation skills
  • Experience working in creative marketing agencies or marketing organizations with a focus in health care
  • Familiarity with MRM solutions a plus
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technical skills include the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and proficient on a Mac
