About The Position

As a Senior Writer at Huge who is product focused, you sit at the intersection of UX design, product strategy, and marketing. You aren't just writing copy; you are designing the verbal interface of the products we build. We're hiring an experienced senior writer who can translate digital product features into clear, human-centric messaging across every touchpoint—from feature launches and email lifecycles to in-product guidance and process documentation. As the brand voice, you'll ensure that our digital products speak a clear, consistent, intuitive, and eye catching narrative. In this role, you will define and execute verbal design systems that elevate digital products and services, ensuring every touchpoint meets the highest standards of craft and excellence.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience within a creatively driven design or technology agency or start-up environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a body of work that showcases your ability to write for the user journey—think feature launch campaigns, email flows, and product copy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate creative concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in building connections between different disciplines and crafts within creative, and within the organization: Working with program delivery to shape scopes, client service to grow relationships, and collaborating with strategy to craft briefs and stories that connect, inspire, and help clients make the best decisions about the work we make for them.

Responsibilities

  • Be a verbal lead amongst a cross functional team, translating business requirements into effective messaging strategies.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and internal messaging guidelines that enable our teams and clients to scale their product communications efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Designers and Strategy to ensure copy is accessible, culturally relevant, and optimized for the user journey.
  • Maintain the highest standards of clarity and precision, reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet both brand guidelines and experience benchmarks.
  • Use data and user feedback to iterate on messaging, improving open rates, click-throughs, and feature adoption.
  • Regularly review and provide feedback on deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Create voice, tone, and messaging, ensuring alignment a brand's guidelines and creative objectives.
  • Drive innovation and push the boundaries of storytelling, keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
