The team works on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain. This role involves joining a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and managers to collaborate across AWS, delivering high standards for safety and security while providing infinite capacity at the lowest cost. The AWS Water team is seeking a self-starter with a passion for water stewardship and sustainability in the AWS Water industry, aiming to further establish AWS as a leader. This position involves pioneering the future for data center water supply, managing multiple large-scale and technically complex water infrastructure projects across various geographies. It requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders for portfolio project management, reporting status, risks, mitigations, and successes, and influencing cross-functional teams in the data center water delivery process. Externally, the role involves managing utility relationships and contracting with utilities or Owner’s Engineers. The individual will be part of an integrated team focused on implementing a fast-scaling portfolio of water infrastructure projects that meet and exceed AWS’ water program requirements, delivering projects on time with reliability and cost-saving results. The ideal candidate should possess both a business and technology background with proven experience working with utilities and building customer trust.
