About The Position

The Senior Vice President of Marking & Communications is responsible for developing and executing the Penn State Health?s overall marketing and communication strategies to enhance competitive brand positioning and organizational reputation on a regional and national level. This high-impact role will define and elevate the Penn State Health brand as being among the industry?s leaders as an integrated academic health system, driving research and discovery, world-class teaching and training and the translation of academic missions into market-leading clinical care delivery.

Requirements

  • Fifteen (15) + Years of experience in marketing and communications, in a corporate or complex environment with at least ten (10) years in a healthcare setting.
  • Masters Degree required, preferably in business (MBA), healthcare (MHA) or marketing fields
  • The ability to think strategically and contribute to high-level business planning.
  • Strong ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and the board of directors.
  • Skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively.
  • A proven track record of leading teams and developing staff.
