About The Position

Responsible for partnering with other senior management to discuss strategies, objectives, and obstacles, monitoring and strategizing to reach annual targets and new markets, overseeing and managing regional and cross-functional divisions of an organization, and responsible for strategic planning, process improvement, employee relations and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field required
  • Ten to twelve years senior management experience
  • Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek’s Zero Injury principles
  • A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Analyze and resolve problems at both a strategic and functional level, plan and think ahead over a one to two-year span
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to delegate administrative tasks
  • Technical skills in management, quality assurance and costing

  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Responsibilities

  • Establish operations standards for cost control, quality, safety and complete and on-time delivery of jobs
  • Establish policies in the areas of capacity planning, scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and performance measures
  • Oversee bidding process, review final bid and approve
  • Work with Industrial EPC Contracts (Engineer, Procure, & Construct)
  • Direct implementation and execution of policies and practices throughout the organization
  • Recommend and implement strategic changes in operations strategy
  • Build, develop and manage Company leadership team capable of carrying out needed company strategies and improving employee relations
  • Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
  • Provide leadership through a 6-12 month planning cycle
  • Must develop systems and controls to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Build, develop and manage teams capable of carrying out a variety of projects
  • Work closely with senior management to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Responsible for all activities when President is unavailable
  • Delegate all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Company
  • Other Duties/Special Projects as assigned by the President
  • Responsible for six to eight subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 400-600 employees Company-wide
  • Plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline upper level management, address complaints and resolve problems
