Does that sound like you? We are actively seeking a Senior Vice President, Social to lead our team. Reporting directly into the CEO, this role requires equal parts builder and operator. You know how to lead best-in-class social and digital work for complex clients—and you’re equally motivated by the opportunity to build, evolve and scale a capability. You’ll serve as the agency’s most senior social and digital leader—setting the vision, defining our point of view, and ensuring our work is not just current, but ahead of where the market is going. You bring sharp instincts on culture, platforms, and content—but also understand how social connects to the broader ecosystem: influencer, paid, GEO and more. Most importantly, you know how to turn that perspective into work that earns attention, builds trust, and drives business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in social media and digital communications, with deep expertise in healthcare (pharma, biotech, public health)
  • Expertise navigating the pharmaceutical regulatory landscape as it relates to social and digital communications is a must have
  • Proven track record leading social agency of record relationships at scale
  • Demonstrated experience building or evolving capabilities, offerings, or teams within an agency or organization
  • Deep understanding of the modern digital ecosystem, including: social platforms and content strategy, influencer and creator ecosystems, paid social and amplification and GEO.
  • Experience managing and developing teams, with a track record of building strong, collaborative cultures
  • Proven ability to drive business growth, both organically and through new business efforts
  • Exceptional client leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making
  • A clear point of view on what makes work culturally relevant—and the ability to translate that into ideas that earn attention

Responsibilities

  • Serve as senior strategic lead across marquee social AOR assignments, setting direction and ensuring delivery of best-in-class, culturally relevant work
  • Act as a trusted senior counselor to clients, shaping how they show up across social and digital ecosystems
  • Push clients beyond expected thinking—elevating content, channel strategy, and engagement models to drive greater impact
  • Ensure all work reflects a deep understanding of audience behavior, platform dynamics, and the regulatory landscape
  • Own and evolve M Booth Health’s social capability into a fully integrated, modern offering
  • Define and lead the agency’s POV on where the space is going—including influencer, paid amplification and emerging platforms
  • Play a leadership role in new business, shaping digital and social strategy in pitches and helping secure new client partnerships
  • Identify and drive organic growth opportunities by expanding the role of social and digital across existing clients
  • Lead and grow a high-performing team, including oversight of paid media capabilities
  • Ensure the team is structured, staffed, and developed to meet both current and future client needs
  • Coach and develop talent, building a strong pipeline of future leaders
  • Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous evolution
