The Senior Vice President - Revenue (Financial Solutions) is a senior leader responsible for owning and scaling revenue growth for BELAY’s Financial Solutions business, with a primary focus on serving small and midsize businesses (SMBs). This role is designed to serve as the day-to-day growth owner for Financial Solutions, partnering closely with the CEO, CMO, and SVP of Assistant Solutions to elevate company-wide growth priorities. The core opportunity for this role is expanding BELAY’s reach with business owners and operators, supported by finance leaders, across bookkeeping, outsourced accounting, controller, tax, and CFO services. This leader will scale & maximize what already exists today—including inbound sales and referral momentum—while also designing and building new growth strategies across outbound business development, select strategic partnerships, and referral channels. The emphasis is on practical execution, repeatability, and building a durable growth engine aligned to BELAY’s real ICP.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, revenue, growth, or business development within accounting services, outsourced finance, or professional services.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role with direct ownership of revenue outcomes.
  • Proven experience scaling inbound sales organizations and senior sales leaders.
  • Demonstrated success building outbound, enterprise, or partnership-led growth motions—not solely optimizing inbound demand.
  • Deep background in consultative, B2B service-based selling with complex buying journeys.
  • Experience selling to CEOs, CFOs, Business Owners, Controllers, and senior finance leadership.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at the CEO, Board, and enterprise-client level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in or alongside PE-backed, multi-entity, or acquisitive environments.
  • Familiarity with account-based selling models and long-cycle enterprise deals.
  • Experience partnering closely with Marketing on ICP definition, messaging, and demand strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own Financial Solutions Revenue Growth
  • Scale and optimize existing inbound sales performance while expanding into outbound, partnership, and enterprise-led growth.
  • Partner with the CEO and Board on growth priorities, forecasts, and long-term revenue strategy specific to Financial Solutions.
  • Build & Lead Outbound and Proactive Growth
  • Design and scale BELAY’s outbound business development strategy, including ICP segmentation, account targeting, messaging, and sales motion design.
  • Build and lead SDR and outbound teams focused on proactive pipeline creation and enterprise opportunity development.
  • Establish repeatable playbooks, performance standards, and operating rhythms for outbound growth.
  • Scale & Optimize Inbound Sales
  • Provide executive leadership to the Director of Sales, Financial Solutions, who oversees the inbound sales organization.
  • Improve conversion rates, sales process rigor, deal quality, and seller productivity.
  • Ensure inbound motions align with enterprise and outbound strategies to create a seamless buyer experience.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships & Channels
  • Identify, build, and scale a select set of high-impact partnerships that drive qualified SMB opportunities.
  • Focus partnership efforts on CPA firms, industry-specific technology platforms (e.g., expense management, ecommerce, inventory tools), and trusted referral ecosystems.
  • Design and manage partner programs that are intentional, measurable, and aligned to BELAY’s core ICP.
  • Establish partner performance metrics, referral expectations, and ROI tracking to guide ongoing investment.
  • Drive SMB & Owner-Led Growth
  • Lead growth strategies targeting SMB owners and operators, supported by finance leaders, across BELAY’s Financial Solutions offerings.
  • Develop sales motions that resonate with founder-led, owner-operated, and growth-stage businesses.
  • Apply industry and end-market knowledge (e.g., inventory-based businesses, ecommerce, consumer products) to improve relevance and close rates.
  • Ensure sales and partnership strategies reflect how SMB buying decisions are actually made.
  • Revenue Infrastructure, Data & Forecasting
  • Establish and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and forecasting across inbound, outbound, enterprise, and partnership channels.
  • Use data and insights to guide resource allocation, investment decisions, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Delivery leadership to ensure revenue growth aligns with capacity, client experience, and margin goals.
