The SVP Brand Marketing & Digital leads the strategy and execution that builds Johnny Was brand awareness, strengthens consumer connection, and drives customer growth across digital and retail channels. This role integrates brand storytelling, consumer marketing, and digital commerce to translate brand equity into measurable acquisition, engagement, and conversion. The leader balances creative brand leadership with performance marketing discipline, ensuring Johnny Was remains culturally relevant while delivering strong commercial results.

Responsibilities

  • Steward brand positioning, voice, and creative direction
  • Lead seasonal storytelling in partnership with Design
  • Direct campaign creative across all channels
  • Drive cultural relevance through community, PR, and partnerships
  • Lead consumer marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Optimize marketing investment and customer acquisition cost
  • Expand reach to new and next-generation customers
  • Oversee ecommerce strategy, site performance, and conversion
  • Guide digital merchandising and customer experience
  • Lead CRM, loyalty, and personalization initiatives
  • Align marketing storytelling with ecommerce performance
  • Own customer data insights and marketing performance analytics
  • Develop reporting for brand and marketing KPIs
  • Enable customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing
