About The Position

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior UX Researcher who thrives on uncovering insights that drive impactful design decisions. This person should be skilled in managing participant panels, conducting interviews and workshops, and using analytics tools to understand user behavior. They must also be able to clearly articulate the value of research to stakeholders and executives. As UX Researcher you will lead and define research initiatives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other designers, to ensure our products meet both user needs and business goals. This position is onsite based in Westford, MA. Candidates must be commuting distance to the office, or able to relocate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency with research tools (Glassbox, Hotjar, UserTesting, etc.).
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience influencing design and product strategy through research.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work within cross-functional teams.
