Senior UX Researcher / Product Owner – Medical Claims Evaluation

We are seeking a UX Researcher to support a mission-critical Defense Aviation Logistics application used by federal customers. This role is focused on deep user research, usability validation, and workflow optimization in high-consequence operational environments. You will work closely with UX designers, engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to ensure the system supports aviation readiness, sustainment, and operational planning.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in UX Research, Human Factors, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or hybrid UX/PO role.
- Strong command of UX research methodologies and product discovery practices.
- Experience influencing roadmaps and delivery decisions through research.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and decision-making skills.
- Experience working in regulated or high-risk environments (healthcare, government, finance).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with healthcare, health IT, medical claims, or clinical decision support systems.
- Familiarity with compliance-driven workflows (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience designing or researching systems where explainability and defensibility are required.
