About The Position

We're seeking a senior-level UX designer to join our cross-functional team and execute design strategy for our B2B platform. This role requires 5-8 years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, coupled with solid user research capabilities. You'll work directly with design and product leadership to translate strategic direction into shipped features, designing products used by thousands of users daily. The ideal candidate will bring excellent design execution skills, research proficiency to validate design decisions, and the ability to work independently within a strategic framework.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX/product design experience with demonstrated ability to lead complex design projects independently, preferably with B2B, SaaS, marketplace, or e-commerce products
  • BA/BS/MS degree in Human Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design projects with measurable impact, design process, and problem-solving approach
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
  • Ability to independently execute complex design projects from strategic direction through implementation with minimal oversight
  • Strong skills in designing complex workflows, multi-step processes, and data-heavy interfaces
  • Solid visual design sensibility with attention to detail and craft
  • Proficiency in qualitative research methods including user interviews, usability testing, and research synthesis
  • Ability to analyze user behavior data and research findings to inform design decisions
  • Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, technical constraints, and implementation considerations
  • Experience building and maintaining design system components
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills for specs, research documentation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and take feedback constructively
  • Can work autonomously within strategic framework and deliver consistently excellent results

  • Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or auction platforms
  • Background in B2B/enterprise software with complex workflows
  • Understanding of supply chain, logistics, inventory management, or retail operations

Responsibilities

  • Execute design projects: Own end-to-end design for major features and product areas, translating strategic direction into high-quality user experiences from concept through launch
  • Design complex workflows: Create intuitive solutions for auction mechanics, inventory management, bidding flows, and transaction processes that serve both retail sellers and business buyers
  • Produce design deliverables: Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and production-ready specifications for engineering implementation
  • Conduct targeted research: Plan and execute user research initiatives including usability tests, user interviews, and surveys to validate design decisions and uncover user insights
  • Collaborate with engineering: Partner with engineers throughout development to ensure design quality and address technical constraints
  • Maintain design systems: Build and evolve components within our design system to ensure consistency across the platform
  • Synthesize research insights: Analyze research findings and user behavior data to inform design decisions and measure experience improvements
  • Present and communicate: Articulate design rationale and research findings to stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams
  • Work with design leadership: Collaborate closely with the design lead to execute strategic initiatives with autonomy and strong judgment
  • Cross-functional partnership: Work effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ship high-quality features
  • Stay current: Keep up with design trends, research methodologies, and emerging tools to continuously improve craft
