The Senior Travel Business Specialist will be responsible for interpreting and applying Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and HHS travel policies to ensure compliant and efficient travel operations. This role involves developing, drafting, and maintaining comprehensive travel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance documents, job aids, FAQs, and other reference materials. The specialist will also prepare high-quality written and verbal communications to inform and educate ARPA-H stakeholders on travel policies, processes, and updates, and design and deliver presentations to leadership and staff. Key duties include developing and maintaining workflow charts and process maps, supporting content for travel-related webpages, compiling and analyzing travel data for program oversight and improvement, and contributing to travel team strategies. The position also requires coordinating and supporting travel-related projects and collaborating with the Travel Lead and internal stakeholders to identify issues and implement best practices.
