The Senior Travel Business Specialist will interpret and apply Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and HHS travel policies to ensure compliant and efficient travel operations. This role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive travel Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidance documents, job aids, FAQs, and other reference materials. The specialist will be responsible for preparing high-quality written and verbal communications to inform ARPA-H stakeholders on travel policies and updates, as well as designing and delivering presentations to leadership and staff. Key duties also include developing workflow charts and process maps, supporting content for travel-related webpages, compiling and analyzing travel data for reporting, and contributing to travel team strategies. The specialist will coordinate and support travel-related projects, leading specific workstreams, and will collaborate closely with the Travel Lead and internal stakeholders to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
