Travel Business Specialist, Senior The Opportunity : To achieve an organization’s mission, leaders need strong team members who have subject matter expertise in federal travel regulations, can support the development, implementation, communication, and continuous improvement of travel business processes, and can provide end-to-end support that includes policy interpretation, SOP and guidance development, reporting, and strategic planning for the travel function. Whether it be interpreting the latest federal travel policies , developing educational materials to communicate guidance, or supporting process improvement initiatives, our clients need someone who can support strategic management and process improvements for travel. As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health ( ARPA-H ) , helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. You'll serve as a senior Travel Business Spe cia list, providing expert-level travel policy , communications, and project management support to the Travel Lead and the broader travel team. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success. What You’ll Work On : Interpret the latest Federal Travel Regulations ( FTR ) and HHS travel policies . Develop and maintain user-friendly procedural guidance, educational materials, and communications products to inform and educate stakeholders on federal travel policies , procedures, regulations, and compliance. Develop and maintain process- related documentation such as workflow charts and process maps to document and improve travel- related business processes. Compile, analyze, and report travel- related data and met rics to support program oversight, decision-making, and process improvement. Contribute to the development and execution of change management and stakeholder e nga gement strategies for travel- related initiatives. Collaborate closely with the Travel Lead and other internal stakeholders to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
