About The Position

Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Telecommunications Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provides expert support to complex communications systems that integrate with communications systems of other services and/or allies and with Army C3 programs, supports the design, development, test, production and system integration of assigned systems. Applies expert technical knowledge of communications systems, technical planning and operations to assure the integration of the overall technical and management aspects of assigned communications projects. Supports all phases of assigned project(s) throughout the life cycle of the project. Provides complex knowledge associated with one or more technical areas within the communications function. Responsible for assessing the skills, performance, productivity and talents of the training development and training execution teams and preparing written evaluations with advice for improvement. Works across many departments and with many stakeholders to ensure that the training developed by the organization meets the needs of each function and is aligned with the goals of the organization. Maintain MFIPS equipment accountability Support PdM ILS IPTs on SOW and PWS development. Coordinate with Signal School of Excellence (SIGCoE) on Institutional Training requirements Review System Training Plans (STRAP) for new or upgraded technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. (Communications or related field preferred.)
  • Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and have an Active SECRET security clearance.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Telecommunications.
  • Required to deploy to austere locations.
  • Required to regularly sit, walk, and/or stand throughout various times during the day.
  • Up to 75 percent travel depending on the workload.
