About The Position

As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you will identify and engage world-class engineering talent across autonomous systems, robotics, AI/ML, hardware, and electrical. You will focus on uncovering highly specialized, often passive candidates and partnering closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to build strong, forward-looking talent pipelines in a fast-paced defense environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, including 3+ years supporting deeply technical engineering roles
  • Proven success sourcing in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Electrical, Embedded, Robotics, or related fields
  • Strong proficiency with advanced sourcing tools and Boolean techniques
  • Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, or other regulated environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches independently in a startup environment

  • Experience supporting roles within defense, aerospace, robotics, manufacturing, or other highly regulated technical environments
  • Background in high-growth or scaling organizations
  • Working knowledge of autonomous systems and hardware/software integration landscapes

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source hard-to-find talent across Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical, Embedded, Autonomy, and Systems Engineering
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, referrals, events, and targeted research
  • Build and maintain long-term pipelines for critical and future hiring needs
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define search strategies and align on priorities
  • Conduct initial screens to assess technical depth, domain expertise, and program eligibility (including defense requirements)
  • Provide market insights and track sourcing metrics to continuously improve effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of sourcing activity within the ATS
  • Track and analyze sourcing metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, and time-to-engagement
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through thoughtful communication and timely follow-up
