About The Position

The Senior Technical Sourcer is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and building relationships with high‑impact technical talent to support Kinaxis’s Product, Engineering, Machine Learning and AI organizations. This role plays a critical part in strengthening our long‑term hiring capability by building deep, future‑ready pipelines aligned to our product roadmap and technical strategy. This position goes beyond transactional sourcing. It requires a strong understanding of product and engineering organizations, modern software development practices, and evolving technology stacks, enabling the sourcer to translate complex requirements into targeted, effective sourcing strategies. The Senior Technical Sourcer partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and TA leadership to provide market insight, talent intelligence, and pipeline depth that help teams scale thoughtfully and competitively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sourcing or talent research role, ideally within a SaaS, product‑led, or high‑growth technology environment.
  • Proven ability to source for Product and Engineering roles, with comfort navigating technical requirements, role nuances, and evolving skill demands.
  • Strong command of modern sourcing tools, techniques, and platforms.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology (e.g., iCIMS, Greenhouse).
  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to quickly learn new technology stacks, with the curiosity and discipline to conduct independent research and keep technical knowledge current.
  • Identifies opportunities to accelerate the end‑to‑end hiring lifecycle through the thoughtful application of AI and recruiting technology, while upholding data privacy standards, equitable hiring practices, and process consistency.
  • Critically evaluates AI‑assisted sourcing, screening, and assessment outputs for accuracy, potential bias risk, and alignment to role requirements, applying sound judgment rather than relying on automation alone.
  • A metrics‑driven mindset, with experience using data to inform sourcing strategies and demonstrate impact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for candidate experience and proactive, relationship‑based talent engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for Product, Engineering, Applied Science,Machine Learning and AI, Data, Security and other technical roles aligned to Kinaxis’s product roadmap and technical priorities.
  • Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives by sharing market insight, testing new sourcing methods, and helping improve how sourcing is done across the team.
  • Build a working understanding of Products org structures, role archetypes, and technology stacks to effectively identify and engage relevant technical talent.
  • Leverage advanced sourcing techniques and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Boolean search) to identify, engage, and nurture passive candidates.
  • Conduct talent market mapping, competitive intelligence, and pipeline analysis to inform hiring strategies and workforce planning discussions.
  • Partner closely with recruiters to deeply understand role requirements, hiring priorities, and success profiles, contributing insight early in the hiring lifecycle.
  • Conduct initial candidate screens and technical alignment conversations, sharing thoughtful, data‑backed recommendations with recruiters.
  • Build and maintain long‑term talent pipelines and candidate communities for current and future technical hiring needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and report on sourcing activity, pipeline health, and effectiveness.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, technical hiring trends, and sourcing best practices to continuously evolve sourcing approaches.
