About The Position

Omniscient Digital is an organic growth agency that partners with ambitious B2B SaaS companies like SAP, Adobe, Loom, and Hotjar to turn SEO and content into growth engines. About this role We're looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist who can diagnose what's broken, build solutions that scale, and drive measurable business impact through technical excellence. This isn't a checkbox audit role. You'll own the technical health of enterprise B2B SaaS accounts, build automated monitoring systems, and work directly with engineering teams to implement solutions that move the needle. You'll work alongside our growth strategists to ensure technical foundations support ambitious revenue goals, and you'll help us innovate how we deliver and measure technical SEO at scale. While the position is remote, candidates must be based within the Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.

Requirements

  • You've spent 5+ years doing technical SEO in agency environments, managing multiple clients with different tech stacks and priorities.
  • You're execution-focused and data-driven. You ship work that gets implemented and can clearly communicate its business impact.
  • You automate repetitive work. You're proficient in Google Sheets (including Apps Script), comfortable with Python or similar tools, and constantly looking for ways to work smarter through automation.
  • You're comfortable in the command line, understand how JavaScript frameworks render content, and can debug rendering issues using Chrome DevTools.
  • You can write (or at least read and modify) HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and regex. You manipulate large datasets with ease.
  • You've led migrations for sites with 10,000+ pages and know how to QA your work so nothing breaks in production.
  • You're experienced with modern B2B SaaS tech stacks: headless CMSs (Contentful, Sanity, Webflow), React-based frameworks (Next.js, Gatsby), and tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GSC, and GA4.
  • You communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You explain business impact, not just technical problems.
  • You're detail-oriented, deadline-conscious, and operate with urgency. You proactively identify issues and own them through resolution and measurement.
  • You believe in shipping high-quality work — whether it's client deliverables, internal systems, or new technical solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building advanced attribution systems and dashboards in GA4, Looker Studio, or similar platforms. If you can connect technical improvements to conversion paths and revenue impact through sophisticated analytics, that's a bonus — but we're primarily looking for someone who can ship technical work that moves the needle.

Responsibilities

  • Own technical SEO across your portfolio. Audit, monitor, and maintain site health for multiple high-stakes accounts. Identify issues before they become problems and fix them when they do.
  • Execute migrations and implementations. Lead CMS migrations, domain consolidations, and JavaScript framework implementations. Build redirect maps, QA rendering issues, and ensure nothing breaks in production.
  • Automate everything you can. Build monitoring systems that alert you to issues before clients notice them. Use Google Sheets, Apps Script, Python, or whatever tools get the job done to automate reporting, data collection, and analysis.
  • Work directly with engineering teams. Create tickets, attend sprint planning, and translate SEO requirements into clear technical specifications. Follow through until implementation is complete and measurable.
  • Diagnose complex issues with data. When traffic drops, you pull the data, form hypotheses, test solutions, and communicate findings with clear before/after metrics.
  • Contribute to R&D. Stay ahead of rendering changes, Core Web Vitals updates, and emerging search technologies. Test new approaches and help us evolve our technical service offerings.
