Senior Technical Recruiter – Optical Networks R&D
About The Position
The Senior Technical Recruiter will join the Network Infrastructure Talent Acquisition team, specifically supporting the Optical Networks R&D and Product Engineering organizations located in Silicon Valley. This role is crucial for advancing Nokia's technological leadership in optical systems, encompassing coherent optics, silicon photonics, advanced ASIC/DSP design, and full system integration. The recruiter will collaborate closely with senior engineering leaders, architects, and hiring managers to identify and secure high-impact, hard-to-find technical talent. The position requires an onsite presence of 3-4 days per week across key locations in Sunnyvale and San Jose, facilitating direct interaction with engineering and manufacturing groups. The Senior Technical Recruiter will operate with significant ownership and influence, serving as a trusted advisor to the business and an expert in optical networking recruitment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior, principal, and architect-level roles across Optical Networks R&D.
- Shape and execute proactive talent strategies in a highly competitive Silicon Valley market.
- Influence hiring decisions through deep understanding of technology, market intelligence, and candidate assessment.
