What you’ll do This role is responsible for partnering with hiring managers and technical leaders to define team needs and role requirements, ensuring alignment on hiring goals. It involves sourcing, engaging, and assessing candidates through diverse channels, while managing the full recruitment cycle from outreach to onboarding. The position also focuses on creating strategies to attract and retain diverse technical talent, proactively building pipelines for present and future needs. Additionally, the recruiter will track and analyze key hiring metrics to improve processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain fairness and efficiency, and champion Brex’s employer brand by representing the company at events and on social platforms. Where you’ll work This role will be based in our SF office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Requirements

  • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., software engineering, data, product) in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills and familiarity with modern recruiting tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret recruiting metrics and make process improvements.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of recruiting.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting across multiple geographies (e.g., US, Canada, LATAM).
  • Familiarity with compensation strategy and market analysis for technical roles.
  • Prior experience in employer branding or talent marketing initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and outreach efforts for technical roles, leveraging various tools and social platforms.
  • Screen and evaluate candidate qualifications, technical skills, and cultural alignment.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for both candidates and interviewers.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to hiring managers and stakeholders on pipeline health and recruiting progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in recruiting systems and dashboards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Partner directly with Hiring Managers to drive hiring initiatives critical to building Brex's Engineering team.
  • Focus on attracting and evaluating top engineering talent with meaningful AI experience with strong core technical skills.
