As we continue to expand, we're seeking a skilled Senior Technical Recruiter to primarily support IT organization while also being able to support Zayo’s other business segments as needed. A successful candidate will have extensive experience and a proven track record recruiting technical positions at all levels. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical job functions, requirements, and industry-specific skills as well as a proven track record in talent acquisition, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates. Qualified candidates will leverage creative and effective talent acquisition strategies to source and develop robust, diverse candidate pipelines. Our Senior Technical Recruiter will be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a high volume of recruitment activities and who has a passion for finding top talent. We're open to our Senior Technical Recruiter working in a remote capacity within the United States. Please note: if you live within 55 miles of an office location, we do ask that you work in a hybrid capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 (five) years of technical recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate environment or as an external recruiter
  • Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and be able to complete time-sensitive assignments with composure and perseverance
  • Experience recruiting across all levels, including Executive level roles
  • Experience sourcing active and passive candidates with a focus on the candidate experience and track recording for finding top talent
  • Experience with behavioral/competency based interviewing and DOL requirements for interview questions
  • Workday experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS 365
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to ensure accurate and effective conveyance of information
  • Ability to quickly evaluate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Prior recruiting experience within the telecommunication industry, preferred (a blend of agency and corporate experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely and build collaborative relationships with leadership, hiring managers and HR Business partners to build a deep knowledge of the business and your client group
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing and recruiting strategies, plans and processes to identify active and passive candidates, and attract the best people in the competitive market for talent
  • Facilitate and execute the full life-cycle recruitment process to hire Zayo employees
  • Consult with and guide Hiring Managers through the recruitment process and provide the appropriate tools when needed
  • Drive recruiting activities to ensure a strong pool of qualified and diverse candidates for current and future openings
  • Screen and provide the best qualified candidates to Hiring Managers
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Hiring Managers
  • Manage change with an ability to quickly course correct to meet the business needs
  • Ensure compliance with recruiting processes and recruiting KPI’s
