Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience within technical domains (such as Engineering, Data Science, or Product), with a track record of closing high-quality talent in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to speak the language of technical teams to accurately assess candidate skills and effectively communicate BILL’s mission.
  • Expertise in using LinkedIn, Boolean, and non-traditional channels to identify and engage top-tier passive talent.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence hiring decisions through market insights and clear candidate rationale.
  • A team-first attitude with the ability to navigate changing priorities, diagnose recruitment blockers, and provide creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in managing applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and maintaining high data integrity throughout the hiring lifecycle

Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting for roles across our technical organization, owning everything from the initial intake and sourcing to assessment, debriefs, and the final close.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies and nurture campaigns to engage passive, top-tier talent across diverse and non-traditional channels.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor to calibrate profiles, set bar-raising standards, and influence selection decisions.
  • Lead high-quality candidate evaluations using structured behavioral interviewing and competency-based standards to ensure long-term success.
  • Analyze funnel health and recruiting data to diagnose bottlenecks and recommend actions that improve efficiency and quality of hire.
  • Act as a brand evangelist by delivering a world-class, high-touch experience for every candidate, ensuring they feel the BILL values at every stage of the process.
  • Own offer strategy and negotiations, aligning candidate motivations and market data with internal parameters to drive successful closes.
