About The Position

As a Technical Recruiter, you will partner closely with engineering and robotics leadership to own full-cycle hiring for our robotics and autonomy initiatives, from intake and sourcing strategy through offer close. You will leverage deep market knowledge and talent insights to attract and hire highly specialized candidates, while advising leaders on hiring priorities, role design, and interview strategy. You will also drive interview best practices and inclusive, structured hiring processes to deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience. This position requires an uncommon balance of teamwork, dedication, and interpersonal skills. You are expected to have technical literacy to evaluate engineering talent and act as a representative for the DoorDash brand. You will manage a diverse set of roles, maintain a high standard for talent, and drive the recruitment lifecycle to completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting within autonomy, robotics, or a similarly niche engineering field.
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership team
  • A good eye for talent with the ability to efficiently assess and teach others how
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to be in front of internal and external leaders
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to last-minute change
  • Proficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniques

Responsibilities

  • Partner with DoorDash Labs leaders to qualify technical requirements and develop tailored strategies for team growth.
  • Collaborate with a robust sourcing team to review talent pipelines and ensure a consistent flow of high-caliber candidates for specialized roles.
  • Lead the offer and closing process by navigating complex compensation conversations, addressing candidate concerns, and effectively selling the opportunity.
  • Leverage data, your knowledge, and industry trends to build and execute on creative closing strategies
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a world-class candidate experience
