Senior Technical Recruiter - Engineering

About The Position

The DoorDash Technical Recruiting team supports the Engineering, Design, Analytics and Product Management organizations, as is made up of recruiters, sourcers and coordinators who partner with our technical leaders to hire the best talent to DoorDash. We’re looking for an experienced technical recruiter to support engineering hiring across DoorDash. In this role, you’ll partner closely with senior engineering leaders to define recruiting strategies, drive candidate engagement strategies, and close exceptional technical talent. You’ll also play a key role in headcount planning, talent forecasting, and process improvement as we continue to scale our engineering organization.

Requirements

4+ years of technical recruiting experience
In-depth understanding of market mapping, talent research, and candidate identification
Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated track record of building working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners
Self-motivated and intellectually curious

Responsibilities

Define and execute on our hiring strategies to successfully scale the New Verticals team
Manage the pipeline of candidates from onsite through closing
Leverage data, your knowledge, and industry trends to build and execute on creative closing strategies
Assist in creating and maintaining a world-class candidate experience
